To promote continuing education for health sciences librarians

To facilitate cooperation among medical and allied health science libraries

To assist in developing library resources

To maintain regional affiliation with the Medical Library Association

Three times annually for the general membership, one of which is in conjunction with the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group (NCNMLG)

On-going continuing education programs sponsored annually
