The meeting was held January 30 - February 2, 2002 in Scottsdale, AZ at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort.

"Doing it Ourselves! 'Open Source' and Other Options for Libraries in the Information Era" was about inspiring librarians to take charge to create solutions for delivering the best possible information services.

Featured presentations from local and national experts, included those in the 'Open Source' movement, showed us how we can all contribute to developing new resources and services needed by our customers.
