The goal of this publication is to provide additional opportunity for MLA members to pursue authorship and to increase dissemination of research and best practices in health sciences librarianship. The Books Panel is currently seeking individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas, to participate in an informal project working group:<br \/>\n\u2022 Judging quality of conference abstracts and\/or presentations<br \/>\n\u2022 Ranking significance of research and its relevance to professional practice<br \/>\n\u2022 Editorial process and tools<br \/>\n\u2022 Publishing process and tools<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers will work on a compressed timeline to develop preliminary publication guidelines and may assist with selection of potential authors from MLA \u201911 program, under direction of the MLA Books Panel.
