ANTS could be the solution to these questions. ANTS, the Animated Tutorial Sharing Project is an Open Source group project. It started in 2004 by a group of librarians in Western Canada and has expanded to include librarians in the rest of Canada and the United States. The goal of this Open Source project is to help librarians that want to create and share short video tutorials. Screen casting tools such as Camtasia, Captivate, JING and Screenr are just some of the software that is being used.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I participated in a web conference on Thursday (October 28<sup>th<\/sup>) and the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ants.wetpaint.com\/page\/Contact+Us\">ANTS \u00a0members<\/a><\/strong> would like more participation by \u00a0librarians in the United States. They are looking for librarians that are interested in creating tutorials in research databases, instructional design, publicity, coders, and programmers.
