Deadline: June 9, 2011<\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Digitizing Historical Records Grant\" href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/nhprc\/announcement\/digitizing.html\">Digitizing Historical Records<\/a> <\/strong>(National Historical Publications and Records Commission): The National  Historical Publications and Records Commission seeks proposals that use  cost-effective methods to digitize nationally significant historical  record collections and make the digital versions freely available  online. Deadline: June 9, 2011<\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Library of Congress Surplus Books Program\" href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/acq\/surplus.html\">Library of Congress Surplus Books Program<\/a><\/strong> (Library of Congress): The Library of Congress has  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsurplus  books available to non-profit  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\torganizations. The books are a  mixture of topics  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twith only a small percentage of publications  at  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe primary and secondary school levels.
