Ellen&#8217;s work on behalf of the MLGSCA chapter as president, treasurer, and finance chair as well as quad chair for the 2010 Joint Meeting in Glendale, Arizona makes her a great candidate for the award. Ellen also was involved in the selection of the new electronic registration system for membership, CE registration, and conference registration with our new vendor Cvent.<\/p>\n<p>She also has contributed to the field of health sciences librarianship while working for Library Associates assessing resource needs for individual libraries and the communities they serve.<\/p>\n<p>Currently Ellen is serving on the Emergency Preparedness and Response Advisory Committee through the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Southwest Region.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Ellen !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ellen Aaronson (left) is the newest recipient of the Louise Darling Award.
