The election is coming!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The MLGSCA Nominating Committee would like to announce that the 2012  election will soon occur. For the first time, MLGSCA is trying out  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ballotbin.com\/\">BallotBin.com<\/a>, a free online election and survey service. Members in good  standing should receive an email notifying them of the online ballot the week of  March 5<sup>th<\/sup> and the membership will have two weeks to vote. The  candidates\u2019 brief biographies and statements of aims for President-Elect and MLA  Chapter Council Representative candidates will be included in the online  ballot.<\/p>\n<p>Formal presentation of the incoming officers, Nominating  Committee\u2019s two newest members, and MLA Chapter Council Representative and  Alternate will be made at the Spring Business meeting.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about the election, please contact  <a href=\"mailto:\/\/Eileen.Wakiji@csulb.edu\">Eileen Wakiji<\/a>, Nominating Committee Chair.<\/p>\n<p>Please vote!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The MLGSCA Nominating Committee would like to announce that the 2012 election will soon occur.
