Aaronson,\u00c2\u00a0AHIP, is one of four candidates selected by the MLA Nominating Committee to run MLA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Board of Directors for the 2010\/11 association year.\u00c2\u00a0 Since 2004,\u00c2\u00a0Ellen has been the sole librarian at West Hills Hospital &amp; Medical Center in West Hills, California.\u00c2\u00a0 She is also Director of Research Services at\u00c2\u00a0Library Associates Companies in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n<p>Ellen has been an MLA member since 1978, and her\u00c2\u00a02009 national MLA activites include\u00c2\u00a0being an official blogger.\u00c2\u00a0She is a current\u00c2\u00a0member of the Hospital Libraries Section.\u00c2\u00a0Recent chapter activities include membership in the Medical Library Group of Southern California and Arizona (MLGSCA), of which Ellen was a president in 2006-2007, and serving as co-chair for the MLGSCA\/Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group (NCNMLG) 2010 Joint Meeting.
