The MLA Scholarship provides up to $5,000 to a student who shows excellence in scholarship and potential for accomplishment in health sciences librarianship.\u00a0 The scholarship will be granted to a student who is entering a Masters\u2019 program at an ALA-accredited library school or who has yet to finish at least one half of the program’s requirements in the year following the granting of the scholarship.\u00a0 Applicants must be citizens of or have permanent residence in either the United States or Canada.<\/p>\n
