Doctor Evidence specializes in providing highly customized search and database technologies/services to assist clients in making informed decisions about diagnostic and treatment evidence. Doctor Evidence is based out of the Los Angeles area.
We are seeking a degreed medical librarian who is proficient in searching medical databases, business databases, Internet, etc.
Hours: Full-time
Location: West Los Angeles
Salary: Competitive salary
Position Requirements:
- Master’s degree in library science (ALA-accredited program preferred).
- Professional experience searching medical literature databases (e.g., MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library).
- Must demonstrate adaptability to change; confidence in a fast-paced organization; willingness to learn and search beyond traditional resources, and an in-depth awareness of current and emerging issues associated with evidence-based medicine, database search obstacles and the design of clinical studies.
