MLGSCA/NCNMLG 2010 Joint Meeting – Call for Papers and Posters

The Planning Committee of the MLGSCA/NCNMLG chapters of the Medical Library Association invites proposals for contributed papers and posters for the 2010 Joint Meeting. Deadline for submissions is October 15th, 2009 (changed from the original September 15, 2009 deadline).
The meeting will be held in Glendale, AZ on January 27-30, 2010 at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa. The conference theme is Rejuvenate: Engage, Refocus, Connect, and can encompass a variety of topics. Your recent projects to rejuvenate your services to your library users, how you engage with your users, or how you have connected with new users through your outreach efforts are all paper or poster topic possibilities. Start planning now to share your accomplishments with your colleagues in this beautiful, new, resort setting.
The poster session will be held on Thursday, Jan 28, 2010 from 1:30 to 2:30 in the Exhibit Hall. Posters can be displayed from 10:00 am on Thursday to 4:00 pm on Friday Jan 29th. Contributed paper sessions are Thursday Jan 28th and Friday Jan 29th from 10:30 to noon, and occur in three concurrent sessions each day.
For both poster and paper proposals, submit a 250 word abstract describing your project. Include your name, position title, address, phone number and email address. For posters, the abstract should be sent to Michael Kronenfeld via email (mkronenfeld@atsu.edu). Please put “poster proposal” in the subject line. For contributed papers, the abstract should be sent to Sally Harvey via email (sally.harvey@bannerhealth.com). Please put “contributed paper proposal” in the subject line. For more information, go to http://www.mlgsca.mlanet.org/jtmtg2010/call_papers_posters.htm.
