Louise Darling Award Winner

Ellen Aaronson (left) is the newest recipient of the Louise Darling Award. Ellen’s work on behalf of the MLGSCA chapter as president, treasurer, and finance chair as well as quad chair for the 2010 Joint Meeting in Glendale, Arizona makes her a great candidate for the award. Ellen also was involved in the selection of the new electronic registration system for membership, CE registration, and conference registration with our new vendor Cvent.
She also has contributed to the field of health sciences librarianship while working for Library Associates assessing resource needs for individual libraries and the communities they serve.
Currently Ellen is serving on the Emergency Preparedness and Response Advisory Committee through the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Southwest Region.
