Disaster Information Specialization: Online Course Offering

Registration has re-opened for the online course “Information Roles in Disaster Management,” to be held on Wednesday, July 18, and Thursday, July 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CENTRAL time each day. The course will discuss librarians’ roles in supporting the disaster workforce. Registration will close at 5 PM on July 17 or when full capacity (an additional 25 registrants) is reached.

This course is a required course for MLA’s Disaster Information Specialization Program and is offered at no cost. This project is funded by the National Library of Medicine under contract HHS-N-276-2010-00782-P.
