We have an opportunity in Southern California at the University of California, Riverside for a Medical Librarian.  If you are a motivated, user-orientated librarian interested in building new services and curriculum in a recently established Medical School this is the place to be.  We are interested in applicants from any area of health, medical, or academic health librarianship or those with an MLIS/MLS who also have experience in a health field or research groups. A second Masters or PhD in a health field will substitute for experience [need an accredited MLS/MLIS degree or equivalent in addition].

Don’t specifically have academic librarianship experience?  Great at online tools such as LibGuides, blackboard, videos, etc. but have limited experience in instruction?  Perhaps you’ve worked with biomedical departments but have never heard of LCME?   Not to worry, we will provide the successful candidate with tools to transition.
