The Hospital Libraries Section/MLA Professional Development Grants Facilitate Lifelong Learning Opportunities

Are you working on research or an educational activity? The HLS/MLA Professional Development Grants award encourages continuing education opportunities allowing members to learn new skills or develop specializations and/or expanding the role of the medical librarian. The Hospital Libraries Section and MLA want to support you! The Professional Development Grants, sponsored by the Hospital Libraries Section and MLA, provide librarians working in hospital and similar clinical settings with the support needed for educational or research activities. This award was established in 1996, and up to two awards may be granted each year in the amount of $800 per award. It is preferred that applicants be a member of the Hospital Libraries Section/MLA. The application deadline is December 1.
