Congratulations to those awarded a Professional Development Award at yesterday’s spring Business Meeting! Each award was for $500.
- Mary White: tuition for Supporting Clinical Care: An Institute in EBP for Medical Librarians
- Sue Espe: to help cover classes/expenses at MLA 2014
- Megan Rosenbloom: research on death from a history of medicine perspective for a forthcoming book, plus a keynote speaking engagement at Death Salon UK
- Hella Bluhm-Stieber: attendance at Quint Meeting in October 2014 in Denver
The Awards Committee would like to thank all applicants for an excellent group of submissions. The deadline for the next round of Professional Development Awards is September 15, 2014, so start thinking about your applications!
